Bob Whitaker | CEO
Starting at TADWA in 2002, Bob recognised the importance and need for TADWA’s services in the community and envisaged TADWA’s potential to grow and expand. With a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education, senior management experience in vocational education and training plus a background in the construction industry, Bob brings his extensive skills in management and knowledge of technology to his role as CEO.
Growing up with two sisters who were profoundly deaf and often having to look out for them when they were younger, he has great empathy for people with disabilities and is keen to make a difference. Bob is married with two children and three grandchildren and is a passionate fan of the West Coast Eagles.
Brian Lund | Corporate Services Manager
Having over 18 years’ experience in the not for profit industry, Brian has a strong understanding of support in aged care, children’s services, mental health and disability. He finds it particularly humbling working for an organisation making a difference to people who live without what some take for granted.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). He is also a member of the Lions Club North Beach who help to raise funds for the community. He is an enthusiastic traveller and is married with two children.
Camille Wakefield | Occupational Therapy Manager
With over 28 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Camille brings her knowledge and skills in allied health to TADWA as the Occupational Therapy Manager. Holding a Post Graduate Degree in Business and Occupational Therapy, she has extensive experience working in health, tertiary education, disability, aged care and mental health.
She has a strong interest in building a sense of community and looking at how people participate and engage with the world around them. Camille is married with a husband and three children. Being a family-oriented person, she often volunteers her time helping out at her children’s sporting clubs.
John Duigan | Chief Operations Officer
With over 25 years of building and maintenance knowledge, John has an excellent understanding of clients needs especially those in aged care and disability. Since starting with TADWA in April 2012, he has recognised people’s needs within the community. Growing up in Scotland with his wife and four kids he decided to ‘take a chance’ and moved to Australia in July 2008 and has never looked back.
He enjoys helping people in the community, at work and away from work. He enjoys coaching and managing a local under 18’s state soccer team and spending quality time with his family.
Carey Hodnett | Human Resources Manager
Carey is an experienced HR Professional with over 8 years of experience multi skilled organisations of varying size and business philosophy. Having experience working with community based not-for-profit organisations and larger multinational organisations Carey is passionate about the role of Human Resources and Employee Relations in business operations and strategic advancement. Carey holds a Bachelor of Business and is finalising her Masters in Employment Relations.
Since commencing work with TADWA in 2014, Carey has partnered with the organisation, ensuring alignment between the corporate strategy and employee relations strategies with the aim of ensuring an engaged workforce who are productive, efficient and deliver exceptional services to our clients.
Outside of work Carey volunteers for community based sporting programs and environmental activities.
