Basic Computer Training


TADWA is now able to offer FREE Basic Computer Training for clients who have a current Computer Service contract. This is a great opportunity for clients to learn to master the skills necessary to use the computer and the internet.

Customers are eligible to receive up to a maximum of 12 hours free training. If you require additional training after this period every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Please however be mindful that there could well be other customers waiting for training and suitable resources may not be available immediately.

For your convenience there are three ways to receive training from TADWA:

  • An interactive training CD - This CD is fully interactive and is yours to keep making it an ideal resource. You can practice the same tasks often and test yourself to see how you are going. The CD teaches you the basics of using your computer, the internet, and email.
  • In your own home where a trainer comes to you – We have a number of volunteers who provide basic computer training in the home. Customers who have problems with mobility are able to request in-home training. In some areas volunteers are not readily available and there could be a need to resort to some other form of training. We are very happy to discuss options with you.
  • At our Eden Hill Office in a classroom environment - TADWA has its own training facility at Eden Hill and you are welcome to register for training on the premises. Up to four people can be trained together in a relaxed and friendly environment.
